Faulty or poorly maintained brakes can result in serious motoring accidents including rear end collisions, runaway vehicles and accidents involving pedestrians, these can result in a costly insurance claim or injury. Your vehicle will also fail its MOT if braking efficiency is below specification.

The condition of your brakes effects the rate at which your vehicle speed is reduced. The more ware and tear your brakes have, the longer the stopping distance of your vehicle. So even if your brakes are functional, there are still risks involved with them not being maintained properly.

Our Brake Inspection thoroughly examines your braking system and all it's components in order to establish the cause or causes of any problem. The brake pads or shoes and discs or drums will be measured for wear, and compared with the vehicle manufacturer's specifications. Our technicians can then recommend the parts that should be considered for replacement. The result of the examination will be recorded on our brake report, along with any costs for rectification.
