Puncture Repair

Puncture

If you have suffered a puncture or your car tyre seems to be slowly losing pressure, then a puncture repair may be suitable for you. It’s the cheaper alternative to completely replacing your car tyre and is completely safe to do. Our tyre repairs are covered under British Standard BS AU 159f (BSAU159f) which stipulate that the tyre can only be repaired by someone who is trained to do so.

We will thoroughly inspect your car tyre and can advise you on if a repair is suitable. In some cases, a repair cannot be done, in this instance we can advise on replacements for you.

Can your car tyre be repaired? Legislation stipulates that a puncture repair cannot be performed under the following circumstances;

  • Tread depth is below the legal limit of 1.6mm across the tyre's circumference.
  • Broken structural integrity or run flat damage.
  • Worn out, aged or deteriorated rubber.
  • Exposed cords.
  • Any sign of previous faulty repairs.

Visit our Oldbury depot for an inspection on your car tyre or call us to arrange a collect service in the West Midlands area.
